The spring on our garage door broke, making the garage door inoperable by us. I called Precision Door because I saw they were open when I wanted to call! Their technician, Francisco was fantastic! He called before arriving (even early!), reviewed the existing door, cables, springs, etc. He presented 3 options for repairs and their related costs. Once selected, he set to work and had the entire job done in around 2 hours. I recommend Precision Garage Door Service of Davenport.

Amazing service received today from Francisco out of the Davenport location. Ther service was booked Friday night and he showed up 8am Saturday morning. Fixed our door in a timely fashion and provided great and helpful advice about lubrication and door maintenance. Highly recommend this company!

I called and scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to replace my current garage door and opener. Appointment was scheduled for 11-7 between 8am and noon. He arrived just after 8 and was very knowledgeable and helpful answering questions. He asked to have 15 or 20 minutes to prepare an estimate. He came to the door a few minutes later and apologized as he wasn't able to get a price on the garage door we picked out. Stated he has spoke to his supervisor and forwarded the information to him and he would be in contact around noon that same day. This was good as we had expressed our desire to get a quick quote as we had another estimate and wanted to decide that day. Noon came and went and now four days later still no contact. Needless to say the other company is getting our business. I give zero stars if possible.

Technician was very thorough and courteous. Gave different options on repairs. Was diligent his work effort and tested everything to make sure all components were all functioning to the correct standards was courteous and professional in the handling on installation of all components. Would recommend this company to anyone and will call them in the future if repairs are needed in the future. All used materials were removed, and area was cleaned up to the point to couldn't tell they were there.

I requested a quote - a person came out - emailed me a quote - I called on 9/20/2025 10:59 am 563-723-8271 and spoke with Ashley - she was very nice and said someone would call me back - I had some questions on the quote - fast forward to today 10/3/2025 no call - all good - went with another company - Ashley gets 5 stars

We were please with Precision Garage Doors. Your Receptionist was able to schedule us the same day. Steve called first, and then arrived and got to work. Our old garage door opener was 20 years old and beyond repair. Steve was very good, and kind enough to help up from the floor after my sticker shock on the new one! He installed the new Genie 1/2 horse and all connections. He greased all rollers. It is now much quieter. Steve was great! He deserves a raise. Thank you. Grant McManus.

Great job done by your technician, Steve Clark. My residential, Double wide overhead door and opener were operating VERY badly due to no maintenance for many years. The person that came doesn’t have enough experience or the knowledge to solve the problem. He had to call his supervisor for directions since he’s only doing garage doors installation for a year. There was no broken components that needed replacing so the problem is the cable on one side came loose! His supervisor told him that they don’t do the unwinding because they break a components and they don’t have the parts? I selected Precision Door because they have an average of 5-star rating in their website! I ended paying up an $60 service fee for nothing that I didn’t know already? They have a hard sell on replacing the garage door spring mechanism for $993? I don’t think this is a company that is good on fixing a problem! Probably they’re rated 5-star for installation since it is more money and easier to just install rather than to fix?

Garage door broke and became detached on a Sunday afternoon causing a potentially dangerous situation. I called Prevision garage door service and they were very prompt to send a technician to secure the door. He was friendly and very qualified in securing the door, giving a great peace of mind. The fee to secure the door was waived with a purchase of a new garage door from Precision, of which the cost of the door and labor very reasonable.
